This image shows part of the northeastern flank of Ascraeus Mons, along the trend that joins the three large Tharsis volcanoes. The image has a myriad of collapse features from circular to linear outlines. The majority of the collapse features don't interact with the surface lava flows, indicating that the collapse features were formed after the main emplacement of lava flows from the summit and near summit vents. The Odyssey spacecraft has spent over 15 years in orbit around Mars, circling the planet more than 69000 times. It holds the record for longest working spacecraft at Mars.
