Color lithograph titled "A Sure Horse for the First Money."It was published in 1882 by the renowned American firm Currier & Ives, known for its prints documenting the life and interests of 19th-century American society. The work depicts a harness race, a very popular sport at the time.In the lower left corner, you can see the signature of the artist, John Cameron, who was one of the publisher's leading illustrators of horses and racing scenes.
